Skrill and Neteller VIP for High-Volume Bettors: Levels, Benefits and What Counts
Skrill VIP starts at €15,000 and Neteller VIP at USD 15,000 of payments to merchants in a calendar quarter, and deposits with bookmakers count towards both, according to the wallets' VIP pages and VIP terms checked on 27 October 2026. This guide is for arbitrage and other high-volume bettors who fund bookmakers through an e-wallet: the levels and what each one gives, what counts towards the threshold and what does not, what a level saves on a real quarter of withdrawals and conversions, and when reaching it is worth planning for.
Key takeaways
- Skrill VIP starts at €15,000 and Neteller VIP at USD 15,000 of payments to merchants in a calendar quarter, and bookmaker deposits count at both (VIP pages and terms, 27 October 2026).
- Top-ups, bookmaker payouts into the wallet, bank withdrawals, prepaid card payments and transfers between people, your own accounts included, do not count.
- Skrill Silver cuts conversion from 4.49% to 2.89% and makes bank withdrawals cost 0%; Neteller Silver cuts conversion from 3.99% to 3.19% and lists only discretionary discounts on withdrawals.
- In our example of three €2,000 bank withdrawals and €3,000 converted in a quarter, Skrill Silver saves €153, what a 0.61% median surebet earns on about €25,000 of stakes.
- Both VIP terms let the wallet remove status over merchant payments not tied to a legitimate activity, so concentrate the deposits you make anyway instead of inflating volume.
What are the Skrill and Neteller VIP levels?
Skrill has three VIP levels, Silver at €15,000, Gold at €45,000 and Diamond at €90,000 a quarter, and Neteller four, Silver at USD 15,000, Gold at USD 45,000, Diamond at USD 150,000 and Exclusive at USD 600,000 (Skrill VIP, Neteller VIP, checked 27 October 2026).

Sources: Skrill VIP, Skrill fees, Neteller VIP, Neteller VIP FAQ and Neteller fees, checked on 27 October 2026. Neteller charges 1.45% for sending money in certain countries and VIP levels. Its fee page says VIP conversion goes down to "as little as 1%"; its VIP page's lowest rate is 1.29%, which we use. Neteller thresholds also apply in the equivalent of your account currency.
At the same threshold amounts Skrill converts more cheaply: 2.89% against 3.19% at the first level and 2.59% against 2.79% at the second. Neteller is cheaper only on a standard account (up to 3.99% against 4.49%) and at its Exclusive level, which needs USD 600,000 a quarter.
What does Skrill VIP give you?
Skrill VIP gives every level 0% bank withdrawals, 0% for sending money to other users, a Skrill Prepaid Mastercard at no charge and lower conversion, from 2.89% at Silver to 1.99% at Diamond (Skrill's VIP page, checked 27 October 2026).
- Skrill VIP benefits at every level: dedicated 24/7 VIP care, priority bank uploads, higher transaction limits, invite-only events and withdrawals to Visa or Mastercard for 1.99% (minimum fees depend on your country) instead of up to 3.99%.
- Extra currency accounts: one at Silver, two at Gold, three at Diamond. How they fit with ordinary secondary balances is in account currency for bettors.
- A personal account manager: from Gold.
For an arber the two benefits that move money are the 0% bank withdrawal and the lower conversion. The rest of Skrill's fees, seen from a surebet, are in our Skrill review.
What does Neteller VIP give you?
Neteller VIP gives every level a dedicated VIP manager, 24/7 email support in English, 0% for sending money in most countries, a Net+ Prepaid Mastercard at no charge and lower conversion, from 3.19% at Silver to 1.29% at Exclusive (Neteller VIP and its FAQ, checked 27 October 2026).
- Neteller VIP program extras: a multi-currency account, priority bank uploads and higher limits, though "VIP status does not automatically remove transaction limits" (FAQ).
- Deposits and withdrawals: discounted only by the account manager's decision and consent. Neteller's VIP page lists no fixed 0% bank withdrawal, which is the biggest difference from Skrill.
- A personal account manager: from Gold, according to the FAQ.
The rest of Neteller's fees, for arbers, are in our Neteller review.
What counts towards VIP volume?
Only payments from the wallet to merchants, which include deposits with bookmakers, and crypto buy and sell transactions count towards Skrill and Neteller VIP, according to the Skrill VIP terms valid from 1 November 2020 and the Neteller VIP terms valid from 1 February 2021.
| Transaction | Counts at Skrill | Counts at Neteller |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit with a bookmaker | yes | yes |
| Other payment to a merchant | yes | yes |
| Crypto buy or sell | yes | yes, except for UK account holders |
| Wallet top-up from a bank or card | no | no |
| Bookmaker payout into the wallet | no | no |
| Withdrawal to a bank | no | no |
| Prepaid card payment | no | no |
| Sending money to another user, own accounts included | no | no |
Both terms define eligible transactions as payments to the wallet's merchants and crypto transactions and exclude the prepaid card and person-to-person transfers by name; the other rows are outside that definition. Checked on 27 October 2026. Neteller's page notes that its VIP terms changed from 19 January 2024; the new version did not open from our location, so the table follows the 2021 terms and the current VIP page.
The point that matters most to an arber: the threshold counts money sent to bookmakers, not the stakes you place. A bankroll that stays at the bookmakers and is staked there again and again adds nothing after the first deposit. A wallet at the centre, with payouts coming back and going out to the next bookmaker, counts every time money leaves it.
When does VIP status start and end?
Skrill and Neteller grant VIP status the day after you reach the threshold, and the level then holds for the rest of that calendar quarter and the following one (Skrill VIP terms, sections 2 and 3; Neteller VIP FAQ, checked 27 October 2026).
- Quarters are calendar quarters: January to March, April to June, July to September, October to December.
- Moving up mid-quarter: reach a higher threshold during a quarter and both wallets upgrade you for the rest of it.
- Level review: each quarter's volume sets the level for the next quarter; other changes take effect on the first day of a quarter.
- Losing it: fall short of the minimum in a quarter and you lose the status (Skrill section 5.1, Neteller section 6.1).
So a bettor who passes €15,000 at Skrill on 20 November is Silver from 21 November to the end of March, and has to pass €15,000 again between January and March to stay there.
How much does each VIP level save?
Skrill Silver saves €153 in a quarter with three €2,000 bank withdrawals and €3,000 converted, while Neteller Silver saves USD 24 on the same amounts, because only its conversion fee falls; the figures use both fee pages and VIP pages checked on 27 October 2026.
| Example quarter | Wallet | Standard costs | VIP costs | Saving |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A: 15,000 deposited, 3 × 2,000 withdrawn, 3,000 converted | Skrill, Silver | €239.70 | €86.70 | €153.00 |
| A: same amounts | Neteller, Silver | USD 224.70 | USD 200.70 | USD 24.00 |
| B: 45,000 deposited, 3 × 5,000 withdrawn, 10,000 converted | Skrill, Gold | €711.50 | €259.00 | €452.50 |
| B: same amounts | Neteller, Gold | USD 661.50 | USD 541.50 | USD 120.00 |
Costs are bank withdrawals at 1.75% plus conversion at each level's rate. Neteller's withdrawals are left at 1.75%, since its discounts depend on the account manager. Fees checked on 27 October 2026.
Scenario A in surebet terms. An arber who deposits €5,000 a month with bookmakers reaches €15,000 a quarter, Skrill Silver. Standard costs are €105 in withdrawals (3 × €35) and €134.70 in conversion; at Silver the withdrawals cost €0 and the conversion €86.70. The €153 saved is what a median surebet of 0.61% earns on about €25,000 of stakes; the median comes from the 24,052 matches in what is arbitrage betting.
Scenario B. At €15,000 a month the same arber reaches Gold. Gold saves €452.50 against a standard account, but only €30 more than Silver would: the step from 2.89% to 2.59% is worth 0.30% of what you convert. The extra benefits of Gold are the personal account manager and one more currency account.
Who saves next to nothing. An arber who withdraws once a quarter and never converts saves one €35 withdrawal fee at Skrill Silver and nothing at Neteller Silver. For that bettor VIP is a side effect, not a goal.
Does splitting money between Skrill and Neteller cost you VIP?
Yes: each wallet counts only its own merchant payments, so €8,000 a quarter through Skrill and USD 8,000 through Neteller reach neither threshold, while the same deposits through one wallet pass Silver.
- Concentrate, do not add. If some bookmakers accept only one of the two, route every other deposit through that wallet as well.
- Do not move money between them. A Skrill to Neteller transfer costs 3.49%, either way, and does not count towards VIP at either wallet.
- Pick the wallet by what you pay. If you withdraw to a bank often, Skrill's 0% at Silver weighs most. If you convert large amounts at the very top, only Neteller's Exclusive level, at USD 600,000 a quarter, goes below Skrill's 1.99%.
If you hold no wallet yet, Skrill is the one whose first VIP level brings the larger saving in our examples; Neteller makes sense next to it when a bookmaker you need accepts only Neteller. How to spread money across bookmaker accounts is in how to start arbitrage betting.
Is there a fast track to Skrill VIP Silver?
Skrill had no fast track to VIP Silver on 27 October 2026: its VIP page describes none, and its VIP terms, valid from 1 November 2020, contain no fast-track rule. Neteller's VIP terms have none either.
Fast tracks have existed as time-limited promotions with their own terms:
Sources: the Teamed Up terms (version 1, June 2019) and Surebet Monitor's report on the Fast Lane at the time. Neither runs today.
The Teamed Up terms also show how Skrill treats volume built for a promotion: they excluded top-ups, withdrawals and Skrill to Neteller transfers, and let Skrill disregard multiple transactions made to raise volume artificially (section 3.5). If a fast track returns, its own terms decide who qualifies, in what window and what counts.
When is VIP worth chasing, and when not?
VIP is worth planning for when the bookmaker deposits you make anyway land near a threshold and you withdraw to a bank or convert currency often; it is not worth inflating volume, because both VIP terms let the wallet remove status, or suspend the account, when payments to merchants are not tied to a legitimate activity (Skrill section 5.2, Neteller section 6.2(c)).
Worth it:
- your normal deposits come to €12,000–15,000 a quarter, and moving the deposits now split between two wallets or a bank into one wallet passes the line,
- you withdraw to a bank several times a quarter (Skrill Silver saves 1.75% on each),
- you convert currency regularly, which also argues for the steps in account currency for bettors.
Not worth it:
- depositing and withdrawing at bookmakers only to build volume. It breaks the spirit of both VIP terms, some bookmakers' terms charge for withdrawing a deposit that was not wagered, and an account that deposits and withdraws without betting draws the same attention as the patterns in bookmaker limits,
- a one-off quarter. The status lasts one more quarter; then you need the volume again,
- a bankroll that stays at the bookmakers. If you rarely withdraw or convert, the levels save little whatever the volume.
The wallet's fees are one cost among several. Commission, taxes and the other costs that belong in every surebet calculation are in arbitrage betting risks.
Summary
Skrill VIP starts at €15,000 and Neteller VIP at USD 15,000 of payments to merchants in a calendar quarter, and bookmaker deposits count at both; top-ups, payouts, withdrawals, card payments and transfers between people do not. Skrill's levels give more for the same amounts: 0% bank withdrawals from Silver and conversion of 2.89% to 1.99%, against Neteller's 3.19% to 1.29% and only discretionary withdrawal discounts. In our example quarter Skrill Silver saves €153 and Neteller Silver USD 24. Concentrate the deposits you make anyway in one wallet, and do not build volume for its own sake: both terms let the wallet take the status away.
Whatever volume you move, set a deposit limit at every bookmaker and keep to it; help is available at BeGambleAware.
